Blessing
Boxes
On June 9th, 2020, we unveiled two blessing boxes in our community where goods can be left for those in need. One box is located in Hope, outside of the Hope Moravian Church, and the other is located in Hartsville, outside Hartsville's Town Square.
Special thanks to...
C. A. Miller Construction for building the boxes
and
Indiana Custom Fabrication for the stands!

FUN FACTS
-
Each box is made out of 100% Azek Material. Azek is a PVC material that won’t absorb moisture, isn’t susceptible to rot and won’t attract termites. This is the best material to stand up against the outdoor elements.
-
Each Box is 4x4’ and 20” deep. LARGE to store a number of items!
-
Our boxes sit on a fabricated sheet metal stand that has been welded and powder coated by Indiana Custom Fabrication and concreted into the ground.
-
Indiana Custom Fabrication also created metal braces adhered to the back of the box for extra sturdiness.
-
The roof of each box is angled to allow rain water, and anything landing on top to roll off the back.
-
Our boxes also have specific places inside that you can submit prayer requests, pick up a scripture card that was written with the receiver in mind, as well as information to local food pantries and our information in case additional help is needed.
